The nightly dinner cruise lasts 2 hours and is narrated by one of our Captains, all of whom are extremely knowledgeable about the history and lore of Lake Sunapee and surrounding area. The M.V. Sunapee Lake Queen features two decks of enclosed dining and an open-air walkway around the top deck. Take your pick of location to sip on a refreshing cocktail as you cruise out of Sunapee Harbor, taking in the beautiful New Hampshire scenery. As you dine on a delicious buffet dinner, you will learn about the sites and history of the lake. If nature cooperates, you may even see one of our phenomenal sunsets. Whether you are looking for a unique evening out, celebrating something special, or returning to the lake year after year, it’s truly a magnificent experience. The dinner cruise leaves at 6:30 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day and at 5:30 after Labor Day. The cruise provides for great photo opportunities with amazing sunsets, lighthouses and mountain views. You may want to bring a light jacket or sweater aboard the cruise as it is sometimes breezy on the lake.

Reservations are highly recommended as we do routinely sell out, especially on weekends. Please make a reservation online or by calling 603-938-6465.

Know Before You Go

  • We do sail rain or shine! We pride ourselves on the beauty of Lake Sunapee, no matter the weather! Should we need to cancel due to extreme circumstances, we will do our best to notify all guests as soon as possible. When making your booking, please be sure to leave a day of contact number and email address so we may contact you.
  • We cruise from the public docks of Sunapee Harbor. The best GPS address to use is 1 Lake Avenue, Sunapee NH 03782.
  • Our Dinner Cruise leaves at 6:30pm during the summer and at 5:30pm after Labor Day. We begin boarding approximately 30 minutes before we cruise.
  • Reservations are highly recommended. We make our food fresh daily based on the nightly headcount. We do routinely sell out, especially on weekends July through September. You can make a reservation in two ways:
    • Click on the red button on this site (Reserve Now). Choose your date and a seating time of 6:30 pm (or 5:30 pm after Labor Day) and fill in the remainder of your reservation information.
    • Feel free to call our office at 603-938-6465 between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm. We can answer any questions as well as book a reservation for you.
    • Please refrain from asking for a reservation via email or another messaging service as a credit card is required to secure your booking.
  • Parking: Due to the 2 hour parking limit in Sunapee Harbor, the Town of Sunapee has asked that all of our guests park in the lot behind the Gazebo. Follow signs for the Boat Launch route and it will bring you where you need to be!
  • Cancellation Policy – All of our food is made fresh daily based on our reservation headcount. Therefore, we ask that should you need to make any changes or cancellations to your reservation, it be done by 12 pm the day of your cruise. We reserve the right to charge a $20 per person cancellation fee to any reservations cancelled or adjusted after 12 pm.
  • At Sunapee Cruises discretion, the dinner cruise may be moved and conducted aboard our sister boat, the M.V. MT. Sunapee II. We will make every effort to notify our reservations.
  • We ask for a minimum of 15 guests in order to cruise during our shoulder seasons (Pre Father’s Day and Post Labor Day).
